ADAMED SmartUP Roadshow finished

14 January 2019

We just completed a series of meetings with students from primary and secondary schools as part of the ADAMED SmartUP Roadshow. Between September and December 2018 our alumni visited 20 schools, were they run classes for over 2700 students.

ADAMED SmartUP Roadshow was a series of meetings in schools organized with the aim of promoting science amongst secondary school students, and to encourage them to take part in the fifth edition of our scholarship programme. Meetings took place from 12th September to 19th December 2018. In this period of time our alumni visited 20 schools and reached almost 1750 students in the following voivodeships: zachodniopomorskie, pomorskie, warmińsko-mazurskie, podlaskie, wielkopolskie, łódzkie, sląskie oraz podkarpackie. This year was the first time in the history of ADAMED SmartUP, where all of meetings during Roadshow were run by our alumni. They are not only gifted scientists, but they also like sharing their scientific passion with others and could share all about their experience at the ADAMED SmartUP science camp.

Our alumni presented various topics, such as diagnostics of diseases, Internet of Things, biotechnology, and running experiments with growing plants. They also explained the complex recruitment process for the 5th edition of ADAMED SmartUP.
