Six intensive weeks, 14 engaged alumni, 11 cities and 20 schools. The Roadshow of the ADAMED SmartUP Program has come to an end. Our alumni, the participants of the previous editions of the Program, toured Poland to encourage their peers and younger friends to try their luck in the recruitment process. Nearly 1,800 secondary school students took part in 25 meetings across the whole country.

During classes organized as part of the Roadshow of the ADAMED SmartUP Program, the teenagers found out how the participation in the Program can help them make their first steps on the way to the scientific career. During the meetings, the Ambassadors shared their own experiences; they explained what to expect at each stage of the recruitment process, talked about the science camp and told the story of their SmartUP adventure. The meetings brought the students a fair dose of inspiration and information about the Program.

“It’s known for a fact that our alumni, like no other, are able to encourage students to try and join the Program. The Ambassadors of the ADAMED SmartUP Program emphasized that, in the schools they had visited, they had received a very warm welcome from the headmasters and teachers, and from students themselves. We are very glad that so many people came to the meetings, and we hope to personally meet at least some of the Roadshow participants in the next stages of the recruitment,” commented Martyna Strupczewska, Head of the ADAMED SmartUP Program.

The first stage of the recruitment to the 9th edition is still open for all enthusiasts of exact and natural sciences aged 14–18 years. The candidates have time to 15 January to solve the tasks in the recruitment game.
